Cramer McCullen

Cramer sees healthcare as a medium for social change. He tirelessly advocates for the disenfranchised and marginalized in the United States and abroad. He has worked with LGBT youth in El Salvador and Guatemala where being gay is a daily struggle against discrimination, homophobic slurs, familial rejection, social isolation, job and healthcare inequality. A recipient of research grants from Infectious Disease Society of America, UNC School of Medicine and CDC of Guatemala, he sees this program as a springboard for future research, clinical practice and advocacy work in equality of care and improved outcomes globally for LGBT patients and beyond.

Cramer conducted a systematic literature review of data since 1987 regarding LGBT populations and smoking cessation. Click here for more info.
