2019-2020 Schedule

Flexible Completion Schedules

Students can complete the program in as little as one year. They also have the option of finishing over two years or more, as long as they are enrolled in at least one course at GWU during the Fall and Spring semesters until graduation. Students traditionally begin the program in the Summer when two of the core courses are offered and when the new-student oriented summer residency occurs. It is, however, possible to begin in the Fall or Spring semesters. The table below shows a side-by-side comparison of example schedules for students who begin during the Summer 2018 semester. Core course are offered only in the Summer (Health Policy and Multidisciplinary Health) and in the Fall (Mental Health). The culminating 3 credit section of the Capstone program (PSYD 6211) is offered in both the Spring and the Fall semesters. Please feel free to consult with program staff or the director for assistance in designing your program completion schedule.
